March 16, 2020 – The Covid-19 Coronavirus outbreak is affecting many businesses around the nation. Mills Floral Company is actively and continuously monitoring the outbreak. Each day brings new information and developments in this evolving situation. Currently, Mills Floral Company is open and operational, but we are taking steps to ensure the safety of the employees that work here and ultimately our customers that are our loyal patrons as well.

We want to reassure our customers that we have implemented extra precautions and a daily cleaning schedule of all our common use areas for the health and safety of the employees as well as our customers and patrons. Mills Floral Company does import from other countries around the world. However, many of the products that we are shipping to our customers have been in our warehouses already for several months or more, and pre-date the outbreak. Therefore, these goods pose no health or safety issues to our customers. Any goods that we may receive into our warehouse in the future have been on a container for 6 – 8 weeks transit time without human contact during that time. The CDC has stated that the virus has a poor survivability on packages shipped. Therefore, there is likely a minimal risk of the virus being spread by any shipments and goods that we receive and ship out to our customers.

We will continue to monitor the situation and update you as well should there be changes affecting our business. But for now, we are open and shipping on schedule.

Please stay safe and healthy.

Linda Mills (owner) and all the Mills Floral Staff
